Our community is full of retirees AND young families. In fact we are one of the only golf course frontage country clubs that are not age restrictive so we have babies to seniors. Nearby there are casinos, fantastic dining, high end shopping on El Paseo, and tons of entertainment. In Palm Springs there is the Palm Spring Follies, in Palm Desert a theater that features Broadway style shows. Most the casinos feature pretty big name headliners. The Indian Wells Tennis Garden, home of the Pacific Life Open is less than 5 minutes away and PGA West is just down the road. Also the Empire Polo Fields, location of the Coachella Music Festival is a just a five minute drive away. For the young and young at heart there is the Living Desert, a zoo style preserve featuring the plants and animals of the world’s deserts. There is a Children’s Museum about 15 minutes away and of course swimming, swimming and swimming. Disneyland, Universal studios, Sea world, San Diego zoo, and southern California beaches are 1. 5 - 2. 5 hours away by car. The Palm Springs International Airport is just a 20 minute drive. Of course our favorite thing to do when we go out to the desert is be out in the sun, have a margarita and relax.
